Im architektonischen Entwerfen werden gerne Entwurfsmethoden zur kreativen Formfindung eingesetzt, die eine Loslösung vom traditionellen Formenkanon und eingefahrenen Denkmustern ermöglichen. Gleichzeitig muss genügend Spielraum für eine funktionale, systematische Entwurfskonzeption entstehen. In diesem Band werden jene Entwurfsmethoden besonders ausführlich diskutiert, die den aktuellen Architekturdiskurs maßgeblich geprägt haben.Themen: Diagrammatische Methoden (über eine zeichnerische, schematische Darstellung) Mimetische Methoden (nachahmend) Parametrische Methoden (über eine kennzeichnende Größe) Automatische und digitale Entwurfsmethoden der aktuellen Avantgarde wie z.B. Scaling, Datascapes, Folding, Morphing

At the same time, there must be enough leeway for a functional, systematic design conception to take shape.
