AbstractIm Herzen des Olympiaparks entstand die neue multifunktionale Sportarena SAP Garden – die neue Heimat des EHC Red Bull München und des FC Bayern Basketball. Die Planung des SAP Garden München basierte auf der Idee einer organisch‐architektonisch geprägten Landschaft im Olympiapark. Durch die asymmetrische Formgebung reiht sich die neue Sportarena harmonisch in das Landschaftsbild ein. Gleichzeitig etabliert das Gebäude neue öffentliche Bereiche, in denen sich die Besucher entfalten und die Natur genießen können.

The planning of the SAP Garden Munich was based on the idea of an organic, architecturally shaped landscape in the Olympic Park. Thanks to its asymmetrical design, the new sports arena blends harmoniously into the landscape. At the same time, the building establishes new public areas where visitors can unfold and enjoy nature.
