Update on the Ground Water Disinfection Rule
The US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA), along with other interested participants, is developing a National Primary Drinking Water Regulation to address the public health risks from microbial contamination of groundwater systems. The history and issues associated with this rule, known as the Ground Water Disinfection Rule (GWDR), have recently been reviewed. This paper gives an update on its progress.
