Contracts can define legal responsibilities, but not moral responsibilities. A good construction‐sequencing document is one that is well conceived, well designed, and then properly implemented. Construction schedules should be flexible but original completion dates must be met to maintain the moral responsibility of all parties involved; owner, engineer, contractor, subcontractor, and supplier.
