This study focuses on urban growth in Jorhat, Assam, India, and its effect on the inefficient and insufficient water supply there. The results of the research highlight the various water supply systems of Jorhat and explore the possibility of tapping water sources through different means. The article also discusses the role of the various sources in providing domestic water to the citizens of Jorhat and the gap between water supply and demand.
