New Challenges in Project Management for Biopharmaceutical Production
Single‐use technologies continue to make inroads in the engineering of flexible production facilities to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients for clinical trials. Currently, nearly all large biopharmaceutical manufacturers are working on concepts to enable more efficient and flexible operation of such production facilities. In this article, we report on the special requirements we have compiled based on our projects in this field and the experiences we have gained so far in designing such systems.
