A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
In his column, AWWA Executive Director Jack Hoffbuhr says that AWWA must be a place where water professionals come together to solve common problems, meet common needs, and accomplish common goals. He says that AWWA is in a unique position to accomplish this because of the intellectual capital within its membership, the energy contained in its volunteer structure, and its credibility as the authoritative resource for safe drinking water. He discusses four key roles that the association must fulfill in order to meet this goal.
