A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
In his column, AWWA Executive Director Jack Hoffbuhr offers a discussion of several questions as a means of taking stock of ourselves that include: is my view of the world out‐of‐date; am I prepared to spend 20% of my time to stay up‐to‐date; and, am I prepared to be on the leading edge of change? He stresses the importance of periodically taking stock of ourselves in order to develop personally within our organizations and, in turn, help our organizations develop.
