Use of Aerial Photography for Preparation of Distribution System Maps
This article discusses the use of aerial photography for making maps pertaining to water utility use. Preliminary studies of the area to be mapped are discussed, along with flight data, ground control, selection of appropriate enlargements of the aerial photography, photo tracings by draftsmen, and final field‐checking.
