Nevada's CWS Managers assess the CCRs
The 1996 amendments to the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) require community water systems (CWSs) to provide an annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) to their customers (USEPA, 1998). The CCR must contain information about the source and quality of delivered water and characterize any risks from exposure to detected contaminants. The content of the report and the method of delivery are regulated by the US Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) and individual states. The first CCRs were delivered to water customers in October 1999, and subsequent reports are due by July 1 each year.
