This article discusses improvements in rural water supply programs. Farmers Home Administration (FHA) loans for improving rural water districts are discussed, along with the extension of Congressional grants for improving rural water systems, eligibility of rural water districts for financing rural projects, and the process of applying for these loans. A discussion of the article is included by Henry L. Dabney of the Texas State Department of Health, and by Otis R. Dierking of the Atchison City Water Works, Inc., Atchison, Kansas.
