Report of the AWWA Metrication Committee
The US is rapidly approaching the day when it will be virtually forced to “go metric” and conform to an international System of weights and measures. Considering the impact that this change will have on the water industry, it is imperative for those within the industry to begin the task of learning to “think metric” now. It is the objective of the Metrication Com. to aid the water‐supply field in as smooth a transition as possible.
