Where Water and Energy Meet
Within the context of our changing climate, it is becoming increasingly important to create a meaningful and transparent method for measuring and reporting the water‐energy connection to achieve a sustainable supply of both. It generally takes water to make energy, and because treating and moving water is such an energy‐intensive process, it has become apparent that water and energy are inextricably linked.
