Manpower simulation model for optimizing construction management tasks
The long working hours of construction site management engineers is a problem for the construction industry in Japan. However, comprehensive data and analysis for construction management are insufficient. In this study, we propose a simulation model that can be used to improve construction management of buildings by identifying tasks and parametrically describing the manpower required. This will enable an estimation of the appropriate allocation of engineers, effects of ICT systems, and effects of various other measures.
