A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
This article focuses on the customer as being an important player in the daily events of every water utility. Everything a water repair or inspection crew does has a direct impact on a customer somewhere. Sometimes the activity affects whole neighborhoods, sometimes whole cities. Customer service must be one of the first considerations when planning a maintenance activity. The importance of respecting the customer is discussed, along with making sure the customer has a voice in maintenance activities.
