A platform for research: civil engineering, architecture and urbanism
Here are results of a survey of randomly selected lime‐soda ash and zeolite plants, which show that zeolite plants are normally installed when capacities of less than 5 mgd are required. However, chemical costs and the composition of the water may make zeolite plants with capacities of 10 mgd desirable and economical. Charts and examples are given for calculating exact chemical costs to be added to plant costs to determine the system indicated.
