CRISIS IN MUNICIPAL WATER SUPPLIES
Municipal water suppliers face many crises; this article covers three—all of which involve legal aspects. In the first third of this article, the author presents a detailed review of the laws of many states of the US relating to water pollution. The author then changes tack and discusses the appropriation of water resources. To close the article, there is a discussion of the legalities affecting the operating prerogatives of municipal water works.
