Precast Concrete Elements
Chapter 4 presents the typical components of precast concrete construction: planar elements (e.g. prestressed hollow‐core slabs, precast floor plates with in situ concrete topping, ribbed sections) and linear elements (e.g. purlins, roof beams). Further sections in this chapter are devoted to walls and foundations, e.g. pocket and pad foundations.
