Modeling an Asphalt Pavement Repair System Considering Fuzziness of Budget Constraints
Generally, it is difficult to decide a repair budget program for asphalt pavement during the analysis period at the planning stage. Furthermore, with the increase in the number of projects, the changes in the life‐cycle cost tend to be insensitive to the changes in budget. In order to take into consideration these ambiguities in pavement repair programs, an optimization system applying fuzzy‐set theory is developed.
