Establishing a Maintenance Program
Guidelines are given for planning and implementing a structured maintenance program for water treatment plants. Both tangible and intangible benefits that result in less costly and more efficient operations are discussed. Such programs are applicable to large utilities that have the resources to invest in computer‐based systems as well as small utilities that can use manual systems for recordkeeping.
