Permeation, penetration, and degradation of chemicals on protective clothing are discussed. The kinds and sources of CPC selection data are described and guidelines are given. The types of protective clothing garments are discussed. The factors affecting the safe use as well as the care and maintenance of CPC in confined space work are discussed.
