Microfiltration Bests Conventional Treatment
In 1988, Pine Brook Water District, just outside of Boulder, Colorado, went online with their existing package filtration plant. In 1991, the district recognized that the filtration plant needed to be upgraded to meet or exceed state and federal regulatory standards. The district studied various treatment techniques and decided to install membranes. The district has been pleased with the performance of its microfiltration plant.
