The Kaleidoscope View of Workforce Diversity and Inclusion
As a child, I was fascinated with kaleidoscopes. I was intrigued that the image was ever changing even though I neither added nor removed any of the kaleidoscope's glass fragments. It was a closed device that changed its reflection on the basis of how I manipulated it. Similarly, the resources needed to meet our workforce requirements have generally been in hand, but the water industry needs to rotate the kaleidoscope's object box to create new, more vibrant perspectives to improve its workforce.
