Fiber‐Reinforced Ceramic Composites
Ceramic fiber ceramic composites have been fabricated by a novel chemical vapor infiltration process. Silicon carbide fiber‐reinforced silicon carbide tubes were fabricated and tested. This material exhibits non‐brittle fracture and excellent strength at room‐temperature, 1000°C and 1200°C.
