Simulation and Contrastive Analysis of Typical Pollutant Transporting
With the development of an industrialized society, more and more groundwater has been exploited. The problem of environment pollution, the seawater intrusion particularly, becomes a global issue. And the situation is more serious in China for that one of the uppermost pollution is seawater in our country now. In order to find out the disciplinarian that the pollutants transporting in stratum, the 1‐D seepage and dispersion indoor tests are carried out with NaCl solution as the pollutant. The test processes are monitored by the pollutant concentrations under different hydraulic gradients and different measure spots. The repairing abilities of the groundwater and the soil can also be simulated by this indoor testing, which uses distilled water to drive the pollutant solution. Based on the indoor tests data and the local measurement, the relations between the disciplinarian of pollutant transport, including the repairing characteristic of the groundwater and soil, and the hydraulic gradients as well as the distance from the source spot to the measure spot can be revealed.
