Oil‐Water Separations
Separating oily wastewater especially the water/oil emulsions is an important issue because of the its abundance produced in many industrial applications and in daily lives. The oil/water emulsions separation is an important topic of discussion because it can straight away give the practical solutions to avoid the problems related to oily wastewater. This chapter focuses on the latest development in the methods for the oil/water separation through filtration of membrane using distinct materials with surface properties that are super wetting. Each part represents a certain work with detailed analysis and briefs the principles on oil/water separation and the materials used.
