In his column, AWWA Executive Director Jack Hoffbuhr discusses the “State of the Industry Survey” that was sent to more than 10,000 AWWA members holding leadership positions. The objectives were to track critical water industry trends, and to identify significant issues that will need future industrywide attention. The goal of the survey was to provide information that will allow AWWA and its members to plan more effectively for the future. The top five issues identified by the survey are discussed.
