Management Responsibilities and Objectives in Investor‐Owned and Municipal Utilities
The most important beneficial change needed by the water industry is professional management of water utilities. The investor‐owned utilities, including the water utilities, have done this, and the municipally‐owned utilities need to do the same. This article examines investor‐owned and municipally‐owned utilities regarding the evaluation of management responsibility and objectives.
