Low‐Flow Liquid Meter
This column describes a simple, reliable, and comparatively inexpensive system that was developed to meter low flows of either raw or finished water. The system flow rate is regulated by a peristaltic‐action‐type pump such as a Brittingham or kinetic‐clamp model. To reduce line pressure to a negligible amount before the pump, an open, constant‐head tank equipped with a float valve is placed in the system.
