The Latin American approach to improving water supplies
The cost of supplying water for small cities and towns in Latin America is much less than in the United States because of regional administration, methods of financing, and simplified design of treatment plants. The aspects that are most adaptable to other developing countries and to the United States are discussed, with Brazil used as an example.
