Upgrading water treatment plants in San Diego
When San Diego's requirements lor treated water had reached the critical limit, the city had to evaluate the capabilities of its water treatment plants. Feasibility studies showed that needs could be met without changing the physical size of the plants and without sacrificing quality. Modifications included a change of filter media and filter controllers and a change to high‐energy mixers and flocculators.
