Notes and comments: leaching of organics from a PVC‐polyethylene‐plexiglass pilot plant
Tests were performed to determine the potential of a water treatment pilot plant constructed from conventional materials to release or remove organic compounds as it is used to model water treatment. The results indicate that the use of a pilot plant constructed of judiciously selected plastic materials may not interfere with studies of organics removal.
