This article discusses China's use of a mobile oxygenation barge to clean up Suzhou Creek (a highly polluted stream that flows through Shanghai, China). BOC Group, a worldwide supplier of industrial gases, vacuum technologies, and distribution services, has designed and supplied the environmental technology for the barge, which represents the first step in a 12‐year plan to rehabilitate the creek.
