Pontius, associate director for regulatory affairs, prepared this article on the upcoming reauthorization of the Clean Water Act and coordinates development of figure articles. Pontius monitors and evaluates legislation and regulations that affect the drinking water industry, prepares official A WWA statements on drinking water issues, and represents the association at meetings, workshops, and study groups.
