The European Steel Bridge Awards are given by ECCS every two years to encourage the creative and outstanding use of steel in construction of bridges. Among 16 projects received from all over Europe, a winner per category was selected by the expert jury and awarded during the 2024 ESBA Ceremony on 12 September 2024 in Prague. In the category Road and Railway Bridges the “U81 Brücke Nordstern in Düsseldorf/Germany”, submitted by Austria (© MCE GmbH), was awarded.
