Irrigation District Justified in Seeking Abandonment of Rights
After an irrigation district in Wyoming had petitioned the state control board to obtain partial abandonment of a water appropriation, the state supreme court ruled that the threat of resuscitation (i.e., reapplication for beneficial use) of the appropriator's reservoir rights constituted an injury to the reservoir rights of the district.
