Federal Drinking Water Regulation Update
Regulations governing drinking water have more than tripled since the passage of the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA) amendments in 1986. Two earlier articles (published in the Journal in February 1990 and March 1992) reviewed the history, content, status, and schedule of these regulations. Current developments related to these rules are reviewed in this article.
