T‐Stub Connections
A comparison between results from the component‐based finite element method (CBFEM) and traditional calculation methods used in US practice for T‐stub connections is presented in this chapter. The limit states evaluated are slip, bolt tension and shear interaction strength, and flexural yielding of the flanges of the T‐stub and the beam. The impact of prying action is considered.
