Water Rates for Industry Should be Equitable
In many instances across the country water rates for industry are extremely low, possibly loss rates; and in other areas, where industry is captive, industrial rates are extremely high while domestic rates are far too low. It is becoming increasingly accepted practice to consider the matter of system demand, both hourly and daily peaks on the cost of water service. Demand metering may be the most practical solution.
