There Really Is Room for Dessert—Make Time to Attend the Young Professionals Summit
So often we hear the message of workforce development and that the industry is graying, but the opportunities to truly engage young professionals in a lateral capacity can still be so limited. The Young Professionals Summit became that opportunity to look to my peers. At each meeting I picked up new thoughts to take home and mull over ‐ work‐life balance, ethics, negotiations, and emotional intelligence. We covered so much ground, and I was able to immediately apply those topics to my daily grind.
