Disinfection: The Last Line of Defense for Potable Water
The objectives of this presentatiort are to focus attention upon the importance of disinfection to the production of potable water, to provide guidelines for the selection of Optimum dosages and contact times to achieve disinfection, to outline the fundamentals of chlorination as it affects potable water production, and to present some ideas on the rationale of proof of disinfection.
