ARTIFICIAL DESTRATIFICATION IN RESERVOIRS
The quality of water as it is stored in a reservoir may improve—or deteroprate. One of the major problems confronting operators charged with reservoir‐quality maintenance is thermal startification that can produce chemical and biological diffculties. The commitee reports on the results of its survey concerning methods being used by various water supplies to overcome quality problems.
