Multivariate declustering techniques
10.1002/env.466.abs
Declustering techniques are techniques that identify independent events in a data record and filter out extreme values from them. Declustering techniques for univariate series of observations are well established. However, there has been little work concerned with declustering techniques for multivariate data. In this paper we propose a new multivariate declustering technique and show how it applies to a wide range of data structures. Copyright © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
