Quantitation of Chlorinated Pesticides—A Comparison of Methods
A long‐term study was made on the qualitative and quantitative recovery efficiency of the carbon adsorption method vs that of a continuous liquid‐liquid extraction method for several chlorinated hydrocarbon pesticides. Water from the Mississippi River, upstream from New Orleans, was extracted by both methods, and comparative results indicate that the latter method may be more efficient.
