Arctic Water Storage
The U.S. Alaskan Air Command, the Environmental Engineering Section of the Arctic Health Research Laboratory, U.S. Public Health Service, conducted a study of the heat balance of the 2 million gallon water storage tank at Kotzebue U.S. Air Force Station. The objective of the study was to develop design and operating criteria for water tanks in the arctic.
