In this month's column, AWWA Executive Director David LaFrance discusses the greatest gift we can give our sons and daughters is a lifetime of safe water distributed through a well‐managed, properly funded water infrastructure system. He also points out that although much of the existing buried water infrastructure has successfully and faithfully served customers for 50 to 100 years, it is in need of replacement.
