Water‐Resources Planning
This article is a summary of a report prepared for the National Water Com. by the Consulting Panel on Water Resources Planning. The panel was convened in Sep. 1970 by the executive director of the commission and was charged to examine the present US programs of water‐resources planning in the light of current and probable future conditions and to recommend changes to improve the planning process and the resulting plans for management of US water and water‐related resources. The panel's report was submitted in May 1972.
