Laboratory Load Tests on Buried Flexible Pipe
To lower construction costs of closed‐conduit systems, the Bureau of Reclamation has investigated the soil‐structure interaction of flexible pipe buried in a large container, using clay as a cover and subjecting them to surcharge loads. The results are both interesting and incisive.
