Microscreening and Diatomite Filtration
After a New York study was completed, it was determined that plankton organisms and amorphorous matter are more effectively removed by diatomite filtration than microscreening only and that microscreening, as a pretreatment process to diatomite and slow sand filtration, be considered for filtration efficiency.
