The North Charleston Sewer District (NCSD) System includes 62 pump stations and approximately 475 miles of gravity and force main piping. This infrastructure serves approximately 100,000 customers over a 59-square-mile service area. The Felix C. Davis WWTP is permitted to treat 27 MGD and is the only plant utilized by NCSD. Currently, the plant averages approximately 15 MGD and recently completed an expansion to treat 34 MGD.
